One credit is one photo: looked at, and a clean plate made. A 4K photo uses two.
Questions
Does it look edited?
It should not, because most of what we hand back is not edited. The
model paints an empty version of the room, and that plate sits
underneath your original. You brush through the messy photo to
reveal the clean one where the clutter was. Everything you do not brush is the photograph exactly as it
came off your camera: the same lens character, the same noise, the same
light. A delivered photo is typically 80 to 90% original pixels.
What happens when a plate comes out wrong?
You render it again, choosing one that removes more or removes less,
and you keep every version. They stack on the photo, so you can take the best parts of
each. A re-render costs a credit, because it is another photo made rather
than a correction of one.
A render that fails costs nothing. The credit is held when a
photo starts and only spent when a plate arrives, so a failure returns it
automatically.
Who sees my clients' photographs?
Making a plate means sending the photograph to whichever company runs
the model, which is the one place your files leave us. They are never used
to train a model, never shown to anyone else, and never sold. Files are
deleted after seven days.
Every company involved is named on the
privacy page, with what each one receives.
Why does a 4K photo cost two credits?
Because it costs us twice as much to make. We would rather charge
honestly for the expensive one than raise the price of every photo to
cover it.
What a credit buys can change. The companies running these models can
reprice without notice, and have said so in writing. Which is why we
price in credits and never promise a number of photographs.
Am I locked in?
No. Cancel whenever you like, from your account page, and keep working
until the period you already paid for ends. Moving down a plan takes effect
at your next renewal, so you keep what you have bought. There is no
contract and no notice period.
